Noblella pygmaea is one of the smallest frogs in the world. It’s native to the country of Peru. It lives at altitudes of over 3000 meters high. It only grows up to 12 mm long. It is a member of the family Stravomantidae,which are direct developing frogs. That means the frogs have no tadpole stage, they just develop into froglets. It lives mostly on the ground in the leaf liter.
